Takeaway orders: from Sunday to Sunday 7-10pm. Hostal del Sol is a long-standing establishment with a family atmosphere. Their specialty is bread with tomato and sausage, they do not offer elaborate dishes, but they do offer a selection of the best sausages in La Garrotx.

Hostal del Sol pays special attention to local products: the pa de pagès and pa de coca bread come from Hostalets d’en Bas, baked in a wood-fired oven; the dressing oil is from Empordà; and the cold cuts and cheeses come from small local producers in the region. This, together with the traditional way of serving these dishes, makes it a unique place.

The menu also includes salads and hot toasts similar to pizzas but made with pa de pagès. To drink, you can try the house specialty cava tisana or a selection of Catalan DO wines.

Gluten-free bread is available.

It is a comfortable place for groups, couples, or families.

In June, it participates in the Olot Tapas Route, the only time it offers an elaborated dish, for which it has won several awards as Best Professional or Popular Tapa.
