This route follows the river Fluvià downstream from Besalú. Although the first part is fairly shady, as you approach the hamlet of Dosquers you begin to leave the shady waysides behind as you pass between open fields.

Aside from the peace and quiet of this area, two of the main attractions of this walk are the hamlet of Dosquers and town of Besalú.
