We venture into the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. What is a natural park? How was the Croscat Volcano formed? Why are there volcanoes in La Garrotxa? Through both a broad and detailed perspective, we will discover the history, landscape, and present-day reality of the Natural Park.

The Croscat Volcano played a key role in the creation of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, thanks to the “Salvem els Volcans” (“Save the Volcanoes”) movement. We will tell this story as we walk among volcanoes.
