To the south of Garrotxa, in the middle of Vall d’Hostoles, is the municipality of Sant Feliu de Pallerols. The Brugent river, a tributary of the Ter, divides the area from which more than fifty springs spring.

The north of the municipality is part of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park and is full of oak and oak forests. The south is part of the Collsacabra Area of Natural Interest, with Atlantic and Central European forests (beech, oak, birch, chestnut, etc.).

The most prominent places in Sant Feliu de Pallerols are the parish church, the chapel of Our Lady of Roser, the church of Sant Iscle de Colltort, the church of Sant Miquel de Pineda, the sanctuary of Ntra. Mrs. of the Font de la Salut, the chapel and the medieval bridge of Sant Sebastià, the chapel of Santa Cecília, the Pou del Glaç, the Brugent river and the entire old town.

The three castles that dominate the valley (Hostoles Castle, Puig-alder Castle, Colltort Castle) are a must-see for hikers.
