Opening hours:

Monday to Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm and from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm
Sunday evenings open only by reservation.

Closed on Thursdays.

Restaurant Ramon was founded in 1985 by Ramon Cros and Elvira Alives after years of running a bar serving tapas and combo plates. Culinary curiosity and the support of their customers encouraged them to improve day by day until they dedicated themselves exclusively to the restaurant. Over the years, with the addition of family members — Josep Cros in the dining room and Berta Agulla in the kitchen — they decided to focus all efforts, and in 2004 the new Restaurant Ramon was born.

Our philosophy is simple: quality products and careful preparation, without hiding the innate virtues of the ingredients. Knowing the origin of the food is essential, since these are the true protagonists of our dishes.

The Garrotxa region is privileged both for its landscapes and its products, which inspire us. Its marked seasonality offers countless flavors and textures, guiding us to take advantage of what this land provides each season to create our dishes: snails, mushrooms, vegetables from the garden, poultry, game meats, aromatic herbs, etc.

History

By chance, some parents concerned about their child’s gluten intolerance came to us.

They explained the problem and asked if we could make a cake for his third birthday. Berta began researching how to do it, and thanks to the human team of the company Nanas of Olot, we achieved this goal.

From that moment our work towards this public began. We have been doing this for two years and are very proud of the gratitude and positive feedback received, which encourages us to improve every day and offer new creations.
