Night and Peak: Comanegra

When do you not treat yourself to a moment of pause and disconnection? This experience is not just another weekend getaway or just another night in a rural setting. Nit i Pic is an invitation to stop, focus on what surrounds us and connect with nature, as well as with other people.
The activity we propose begins in the afternoon, in the village of Beget , no more than six people. Without rushing and taking advantage of the sunset. From there we will leave for a farmhouse in the middle of Alta Garrotxa, anchored to the rhythm of the territory, its animals, its fauna and the people who inhabit it.
Upon arriving at the farmhouse, the silence and evening lights will welcome us, in a cozy space that breathes calm and where we will enjoy a good meal with local products, without rushing and listening to the surroundings.
The next day, without running, already having breakfast and with a light backpack, we will climb towards Comanegra and Pic de les Bruixes . Between trees and paths, singletrack and rocks mixed with green, passes and valleys between Catalonia and France. Upon reaching the summit, the landscape and Garrotxa seen from above.
This activity is designed to be experienced in a small committee, without fuss or rush, returning to what is essential: the light of the sunset, a house, a shared table and a path.

The origins of the toponym Bassegoda can be found in current Basque, where the words basa or baso mean “wild, brutal” or “forest, jungle” and where goiti means “summit, height”. Thus, Basagoiti could be translated as “wild summit” or “high forest”, a description that fits very well with the rocks and singles that define the peak.
