Located in the heart of Santa Pau, right next to the medieval castle.
Can Salgueda is attached to the wall, in the oldest part of the Vila Vella de Santa Pau, right in front of the Portal de Mar. It is one of the houses that Josep Pla describes as “a cluster of dark stones around the castle and the church like a flock of black sheep around the shepherd”.
Interesting facts: Can Salgueda was rebuilt in 2002, maintaining respect for the incomparable surroundings of the Old Town of Santa Pau (Historic Artistic Monument) and at the same time giving a touch of comfort and joy for a vacation or for work that requires tranquility.
Apartments:
It has two apartments that are named according to the orientation of the living room window: “Serra de Finestres” and “Volcà de Santa Margarida”. Two apartments for 2 to 7 people. Both have a living room – dining room – kitchen, a double bedroom, a bathroom, and another “loft” room specially designed for children. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a double bed. The apartments are fully equipped with all the household utensils. There are table services for eight people, in case you want to have guests during your stay.
