This walk starts at an outdoor activity centre (casa de colònies) in Les Preses. Pass next to the parish church and then the cemetery and begin to head up a path running parallel to and just underneath a forest track. This path, which climbs steadily and quickly gains height, is in fact the easiest of all the paths – all of which have a certain difficulty – that climb up to the Xenacs recreation area.
