This route starts at an outdoor activity centre (casa de colònies) in Les Preses. Pass by the municipal swimming pool and then start the easy climb up to Volcano El Racó, from where – despite its scant height – there are excellent views over much of La Garrotxa. From here, the walk continues up to the Xenacs recreation area, from where the views are even better!
