To the west of Sant Jaume de Llierca between the river Fluvià and the Pla de Poliger there is a pleasant area for short walks. The signposted route starts next to the football pitch in Sant Jaume de Llierca, runs along the edge of Pla de Poliger, and drops down to an old power station next to the river Riu. From here you can return to Sant Jaume along the banks of the river Fluvià.
