This circular walk climbs three ridges, Serra de Mont-ros, Aiguanegra and Vivers, from where there are excellent views over much of La Garrotxa.

Aside from the cultural and natural heritage of the towns of Sant Joan les Fonts and Castellfollit de la Roca, some of the most interesting sites on this walk are the hamlet of Begudà, La Sebastiana (a former textile factory) and Torre de Canadell, a defence tower situated on top of Serra de Vivers.
