The Serra de Sant Julià del Mont, north of Santa Pau, has the privilege of being located in the middle of La Garrotxa, which provides it – in places where the forest allows it – with unusual viewpoints of parts of the Garrotxa Natural Park.

From Santa Pau you can walk to the small church of Sant Abdó i Sant Senén, and then on to the sanctuary of Sant Julià del Mont, both of which offer excellent views over the surrounding volcanoes.
