G-LAB is a space where tourism data for the county of La Garrotxa can be found, both supply and demand. The G-LAB environment also allows access to a diagnosis of the destination’s sustainability level, based on cross-analysis of different indicators.
The Tax on Stays in Tourist Accommodation allows resources to be generated to make La Garrotxa a more sustainable and quality destination. The town councils of the region jointly manage it to finance actions in the strategic tourism plan, with the aim of preserving the heritage and improving the experience of visitors and residents.
The Garrotxa Sustainable Development Observatory annually collects objective data relating to the environmental, economic and social spheres, offering a transversal view of the region thanks to the collaboration of local organisations. This project has annual contributions of data from Turisme Garrotxa, thus enriching the sectoral reports with updated information on local tourism.
