Olot is launching a new programme designed to encourage reflection on the relationship between architecture, territory and urban life, with a perspective rooted in the local context and connected to today’s major urban challenges.
The programme will combine municipal initiatives with projects led by organisations, educational centres, institutions and professional groups, contributing their expertise to help understand how architecture shapes the landscape and, in turn, how the landscape influences the way we build.
Throughout the year, a wide range of activities will take place, including exhibitions, talks and performing arts proposals. Highlights include performances at the Teatre Principal d’Olot such as M.A.R., which reflects on the meaning of spaces, and Constructivo, a humorous and thoughtful take on construction and architecture.
