The programme for April, May and June combines guided tours, family workshops, outdoor activities and science outreach proposals, consolidating the centre as a key reference for scientific dissemination.

Espai Cràter welcomes spring with a new programme of activities for April, May and June, designed to bring volcanology and science closer to all audiences. The proposal includes guided tours, family workshops, outdoor activities, science outreach talks and cinema, as well as participation in leading scientific and cultural events both within and beyond the region.

This new season follows a very successful Easter period, with more than 1,700 visitors, confirming the strong public interest in volcanology. Family workshops and guided tours reached full capacity, further consolidating the centre as one of the main cultural and tourism attractions in La Garrotxa.

One of the highlights of the programme is the introduction of new family workshops, designed to spark scientific curiosity among younger audiences through experimentation and discovery. In addition, the “Science in the neighbourhoods” initiative will once again bring science to the streets of Olot with free, open activities aimed at reaching new audiences.

The programme also includes conferences, film screenings and collaborations with major cultural events, strengthening Espai Cràter’s role as a centre connected to research, knowledge and the local territory. With this diverse and accessible offer, the centre continues to position itself as a leading hub for science communication and cultural activity.
