The main places of interest are the castle of Finestres and several Romanesque churches: the church of Santa Maria de Finestres, that of Sant Esteve de Llémena, that of Sant Andreu, that of Sant Joan de Medes, that of Sant Julià, that of Sant Aniol and that of Sant Miquel de Bustins. Other buildings of interest are the sanctuary of Elena, the chapel of Sant Cebrià, in the chapel of Bell-lloc de Llémena, the hermitage of Sant Roc, the Roc de la Melca site and the village of Palomera (or Puig del Moro).
The Serra de Finestres, which closes the valley to the north, and the Riera de la Llémena, which flows towards Girona, complete the list of the main attractions of Sant Aniol de Finestres.
