Come and discover the first house to achieve the highest category of Rural Tourism in Catalonia: the 5 ears of corn!

Located within the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, Mas Can Batlle is an imposing manor house with more than 1000 years of history. What probably began as a small shepherd’s hut has been growing and transforming constantly.

In the last two centuries alone, this house has seen the passing of farmers, shepherds, lords, bandits, Carlists and even a Carlist pretender to the throne of Spain, Alfonso Carlos I, who slept there for a few nights in January 1873.

The farmhouse has only 5 rooms that we consider suites – All have large bathrooms, large beds and a very special decoration. One of the most striking characteristics of the house is the tranquility that reigns there. It is the best place to rest and relax, either in one of the interior corners or enjoying the surroundings. It is for this reason that our house is not prepared to receive children under 12 years of age .

Prices are between €155 and €190 per night. This includes the suite, buffet breakfast, tourist tax and VAT.
