We celebrate International Observe the Moon Night. As part of the Visites amb Valors ecotourism activities programme.
We’ll begin with a small welcome aperitif. We’ll delve into the Alta Garrotxa night sky with an audiovisual presentation on the Solar System, the Milky Way, the universe and the multiverse, featuring real images and constant Q&A interaction.
We’ll learn how an astronomical observing site is organised and operated. We’ll then continue with an observing session using a high-end telescope. The silence and tranquillity of the surroundings will accompany us throughout the evening. In case of adverse weather, we’ll move inside the hermitage for the activity, with an additional debate on today’s hottest topics in astrophysics.
