The festival of traditional dances.
Ésdansa celebrates its 44th edition, reaffirming its position as a leading festival for traditional rooted dance. For seven days, Les Preses becomes a meeting point for cultures from around the world, with a programme that combines performances, artistic creation, training, outreach and public participation.
This year’s edition is particularly significant as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of Marboleny, the organisation behind the festival, through activities and performances paying tribute to its long-standing contribution to the promotion of traditional culture and rooted dance.
The programme features performances by Catalan and international companies, workshops for children, young people and adults, concerts, discussion spaces and participatory activities, inviting visitors to experience dance not only as spectators but also as active participants.
