From Castellfollit de la Roca we will climb up to the Sanctuary of Cós, from where we will enjoy panoramic views of the Llierca Valley and the middle course of the Fluvià River.
From there we will descend to Montagut and continue to Tortellà, passing over the Llierca Bridge, a spectacular medieval construction.
Attention MTB rider
We start the stage in front of the Clock Tower, retracing the climb from the previous stage. First along the N-260z and then we turn left onto the GIV-5221.
To avoid the uphill trail section followed by the Volta a peu, we continue along this road for about 800 m, where we turn right onto a track that climbs up to the Sanctuary of Mare de Déu del Cos.
The descent from Mare de Déu del Cos begins by retracing the last metres of the climb and then following a track that takes us to Montagut.
We arrive in Montagut via Carrer de les Escoles and turn left onto Carrer del Prat, without entering the housing estate.
Once across the Llierca Bridge and on the way to Tortellà, we find some short non-rideable sections, where it will be necessary to dismount. We always remain on the main track.
