The Riudaura valley deserves a long visit for the beauty of its landscape and the typism of the town. Either from Olot, or from the Vall d’en Bas, the paths converge at the entrance to the Riudaura valley.

The mountains surround Riudaura on almost all sides: Sant Miquel del Mont, the Puig Soleres, the Coll de Coubet -with the old Cantina hostel-, the Coll de Canes, the Sierra de Santa Magdalena de Cambrils, the Puig de the Ofrena, the Miranda hill and the Rauta hill.

The Serra de Sant Valentí del Mont, which delimits Riudaura to the north, offers beautiful nooks and crannies, such as the Masia de Bastons. From the N-260 you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Pinya plain in the Bas valley. The pass and the old Serrota hostel are also noteworthy, with a remarkable panorama now over Riudaura and the Riera de Riudaura, which runs through the entire valley. The Plana de Cruanyes, located at the foot of the Saiols hill, is one of the most beautiful meadows in the area.
