Sales de Llierca, located in the heart of Alta Garrotxa, includes the towns of Gitarriu, Sadernes and Sant Grau d’Entreperes and Sant Miquel de Monteia.

The concentration of Romanesque churches stands out, such as the parish church of Sant Martí, that of Santa Cecília de Sadernes, that of Sant Grau d’Entreperes, that of Sant Andreu de Gitarriu and that of Sant Miquel de Monteia. We should also mention the Sales Castle and two of the most well-known caves in Alta Garrotxa: the Bisbe cave and the Ermitons cave.
